Testimonials from our happy customers
I would like to order the complete box set of the phonics cards. I have previously bought your phonics books, which have been incredibly useful so would love to supplement them with the cards.

I am an Afrikaans Speech therapist and a mom of a ten year old boy in Grade 5 and a girl in Grade 9. My son brought home his Phonix in a Box book for me to cover and they have been working in this book for the past two weeks.I was delighted to see the vocabulary and language enrichment!Well done on an excellent book!!!!We have to do some work in this book everyday and I think it is amazing!!!

I just came across your product on the internet, and I'm really impressed. I'm a remedial therapist and I am very aware of the need for such a product as yours. I was wondering if there are any plans to expand the range to include Afrikaans as well?
(Natasha Hinsbeeck -Remedial Therapist)
I've been using the phonix in a box books at my practice, and they've worked wonderfully with my kids! It really saves me a lot of therapy preparation time too.

I think the books look great and am particulary excited at getting a uniformed, progressive scheme going. I look forward to using them. (Mrs C. Yorke -St Peter's Boys Prep)
These phonic books are VERY exciting. I will forward to all the relevant parties and discuss with the other teachers in Middle School, but I think you have "hit the nail on the head".
(Head of Middle School: St Peter's Prep Boys Prep)
Your phonic workbooks fit so well into the new CAPS education model. They incorporate synonyms, antonyms, sentence writing and many more important language skills. They are well integrated and are more than just a phonic book. (Grade 2 teacher -Holy Cross George)
I received my parcels today. Thank you so much for the complimentary books. I am so excited and can’t wait to work through the games and books myself!!! (Reading consultant)
Thank you for the excellent service during the purchasing of the books. I received them and they are lovely. (Speech-Language Therapist)

I ordered all five of your Phonix in a Box cards when I was in university and have found them very useful for language and articulation therapy.

These books are the best phonic books that I have seen. You have identified a need and have carefully written them to fill this need. I love the application of language skills in the worksheets too.

Phonix in a box arrived safe and sound today, and it is wonderful! Super application and games...

The cards I have seen are marvellous and make working with phonemes and graphemes much easier (especially for me).

Thank you for the excellent work you have done. Your books have consolidated our phonic programme at KEPS and I can assure you that we will be ordering from you every year.

"Phonix in a Box is a fun way to stimulate awareness of those tricky vowel and consonant blends that are so challenging for many of the children I see for reading and spelling difficulties. Children with these difficulties hate practising the spelling rules, but are keen to get out the cards and play Snap, Rummy or Go fish! and they learn while they are playing. The cards are good quality, with clear, bright pictures that are culturally appropriate. A wonderful therapy tool!"
Julia Travis (Speech Therapist)
“Phonix in a Box has proved to be a hit in therapy with my students! The children love the colourful pictures and the games are varied and fun to use in therapy and at home.
The cards have been grouped into sound families so well that phonics has become a fun and easy activity in therapy rather than a dull one. I enjoy using Phonics in a Box as a therapy tool and highly recommend all teachers, therapists and families to have a set”

Thank you so much for sending Phonix in a Box so quickly. I received the parcel on Wednesday and started to use the boxes yesterday. My older children who are struggling to read loved the cards and immediately wanted to play the games - so we are definitely going to have lots of fun! I have a little girl with apraxia and she noticed the boxes when she came in for therapy and wanted to see what was inside - she enjoyed the pictures so much and started to talk about them spontaneously(we are working on sentence expansion) - I was so surprised because she does not normally expand her utterances.

We have loved using the books and will definitely use them again next year. (St Peter’s Boys Prep)
The Grade 3’s have found your book very helpful. They love the way that synonyms, rhyming words, collective nouns, similes and homonyms are included and used in connection with the phonics. In general the books are GREAT!! (Liberty Christian College)
We have received your workbooks. They are fantastic. Teachers are raving about them. Thank you so much. (Greyton House)
We use the complete set in our support for children who come into the school, usually having little or no English. "I am doing it with Joseph and it seems to be helping him. I like the layout and it has a variety of activities so as that it does not get too boring." (Bridge House)
The Grade 4's are using the book as one of their set 'workbooks'. "I am finding them really nice. The words are current, perhaps a bit more challenging than other resources that I was using but the kids overall are coping.I really like the exercises that follow after the words.
Grade 4 teacher (Bridge House School)
These phonic workbooks are excellent. The Grade 3’s have loved using the books. The teachers really enjoy the inclusion of language and vocabulary concepts and find the level of the spelling words extends the learners too. (Holy Cross Primary-George) |
